Meketa Investment Group Announces Adoption of CFA Institute’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Code

BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Meketa Investment Group (Meketa), a global investment advisory and fiduciary management (OCIO) firm, today announced that it has adopted the CFA Institute’s Voluntary Code on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Investment Professionals in the United States and Canada (“DEI Code”), effective August 1, 2022.

Launched in February 2022, the DEI Code provides organizations in the investment industry with an action-oriented, principles-based framework to drive measurable and meaningful change around diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace. organizations. As a baseline, signatories must, within two years, adopt a DEI policy and statement, establish a governance process for senior management ownership and oversight, and implement a plan to integrate DEI into the people, processes and policies of the organization. Signatories also commit to six principles that aim to advance the DEI with respect to the talent pool, acquisition, promotion and retention of staff, leadership, influence and measurement. In addition, signatories commit to accelerating and amplifying the impact of their engagement by advocating for diversity, equity and inclusion economically, commercially and morally.
