Chase Mazzariello, Vice President of North American Institutional Affairs
Chase Mazzariello is Vice President of North American Institutional Affairs at Matthews Asia and is responsible for the business development and customer service efforts of the company. He is based in New York. Prior to joining Matthews Asia in 2019, he was Executive Director at Indus Capital, responsible for global institutional business development and consultant relations. From 2012 to 2013, he was Senior Associate in the Business Development Services group at OppenheimerFunds where he was responsible for institutional and retail marketing as well as customer communication. Previously, Chase was an Associate at Artio Global Management, specializing in product management and consultant / client relationships. He began his career in 2007 as a Global Wealth Management Operations Analyst at Citigroup. Chase received a BSBA in Finance from Georgetown University in 2007.
Andrew Mattock, CFA, portfolio manager
Andrew Mattock is a portfolio manager at Matthews Asia and manages the company’s strategies for China and small business. Prior to joining the company in 2015, he was a fund manager at Henderson Global Investors for 15 years, first in London and then in Singapore, managing Asia-Pacific equities. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors in Accounting from ACU. He started his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and graduated as a chartered accountant.
Winnie Chwang, Portfolio Manager
Winnie Chwang is a portfolio manager at Matthews Asia and manages the company’s small strategy in China and co-manages the China and Pacific Tiger strategies. She joined the company in 2004 and built her investment career within the company. Winnie holds an MBA from the Haas School of Business and a BA in Economics with a minor in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley. She is fluent in Mandarin and speaks Cantonese.
